The Los Sueños Marriott Ocean and Golf Resort opened in December, 1999. This 212-room, 5 star beachfront resort is the sister hotel to the Costa Rica Marriott in San José and offers the same warmth and ambiance. The hotel features magnificent colonial architecture set on the Pacific Coast, (1 hour, 30 minutes from San Jose International Airport) on a 1,100 acre rainforest with a 18-hole championship Golf Course, designed by Ted Robinson. The Los Sueños Championship Golf Course was designed by world-known golf architect Ted Robinson. After his visit to the undeveloped site, Mr. Robinson commented that he had never seen a more natural landscape for a golf course. The result is the first eco-golf course that plays into spectacular tropical rain forests and back to the blue waters of Herradura Bay. This incredibly beautiful Par-72, 6,696-yard golf course will challenge the best golfers.
