Description of Places

Arenal Volcano:
 
Almost going up 2 kilometers in height, it is located in the northwest part of Costa Rica the imposing Arenal Volcano, this volcano offers its visitors the unique experience of seeing one of the most active volcanoes in the world. 
 
After of sleeping for more than 400 years, the Arenal Volcano made eruption in a tremendous force of the 29 to the 31 July 1968. With a lunar appearance, covering several miles, it was the land to its around, with rocks, lava and ashy. 
 
More than 30 years the Arenal continues in eruption, but in a smaller scale; the visitors can see as rocks of up to 7 diameter meters to the red alive are send on 300 meters high. The volcano can also be very noisy, similar to the dynamite in explosion, which leaves an echo in the near mountains. In the nights the lava flows and the eruption of burning rocks produces spectacular artificial games. 
 
Short periods of inactivity are usually continued by noisy explosions and big clouds of smoke with mushroom form, together with burning rocks which explode and they make resound the floor, being able to be heard to a couple of kilometers of distance. 
 
In this area in the morning will enjoy the view, the sounds of the tropical forest and the tranquility while we row for the Peñas Blancas River; in the afternoon inside the Arenal Volcano Park National will enjoy the most extraordinary landscapes, in a walk guided in the skirts of the colossus, at the sunset relax and enjoy a delicious and healthy bathroom in the Hot Springs

Biological Reserve Monteverde: 
 
A small called community Santa Elena is the house of the Forest Biological Reservation of Monteverde  
 
Originally they were 4000 earth acres but this reservation has grown until to be an area of approximate of 25,000 acres, distributed in 6 different areas. 
 
The Reservation of Monteverde is one of the humid forests with the biggest diversity and wealth of the new world, with extensive paths the visitors can enjoy a great flora variety and fauna when walking. 
 
It is known better as the home of the radiant quetzal, but they are also protected hundred of other species of birds and plants, the same as some reptiles, amphibians and insects.  
 
The area of Monteverde is also known by its famous factory of cheese, coffee and art galleries, also; with our package you will enjoy a walk for the top of the trees and of a spectacular canopy, where you will be able to appreciate the nature in a different way, as only it can be observe from the high.

National Park Manuel Antonio: 
 
Located in the pacific Ocean and near to Quepos is Manuel Antonio; a paradisiacal place with different beaches of white sand, primary habitat, secondary forests, swamps, and marshes; that they make of this park one of the most popular and beautiful of the whole system. 
 
In this park you will enjoy marine emigrants birds, that combined with the crystalline water they make of these beaches a special place for the practice of the observation of birds and/or snorkeling. Calm place, perfect for swimming or just relax through the beaches skirted with forests and great quantity of fauna, what allows you to walk for the park by your self or if you prefers you can make with  a guide. 
 
In this area we include you a guided horseback riding with a delicious lunch for the beautiful mountains of the areas, where you will explore and admire the wonderful fauna and splendid wild animal life in their natural habitat.
